DocuBit is a document management system that makes every PDF, Word file and scan searchable by what it says, in Arabic and English. DocuBit was previously called Macrosbit Files.

Search inside documents
OCR reads PDFs, Word files and scans in Arabic and English, so a file is found by its contents, not only its name.
AI field extraction
Macrosbit AI reads the key fields of invoices and other documents: numbers, dates, amounts and suppliers.
Folders and permissions
Folders are private by default. Share one with a role or a person to view, edit or manage.
Versions and activity
Uploading a new version keeps the old ones, and every open, change and share is recorded per file.
Expiry dates
Put an expiry date on any document and see everything that is about to expire in one place.
Secure share links
Share outside the company with an optional password, expiry date and download limit.
Linked records
Files attached to employees, vehicles, contracts and requests in PeopleBit live in the same archive and follow the same permissions.
Trash and retention
Deleted files go to the trash first, and documents on a retention hold cannot be removed until the hold ends.
Virus scanning
Every upload is scanned for malware before it is stored.

Can DocuBit search Arabic documents?
Yes. OCR covers Arabic and English scans and PDFs, and you can search by any word inside them.
Who can see our files?
A new folder is visible only to the person who created it until they share it with a role or a person, with view, edit or manage access.
Can we share files with people outside the company?
Yes, with share links that can have a password, an expiry date and a download limit.
Are old versions kept?
Yes. Every previous version is kept and can be restored.
Is DocuBit connected to PeopleBit?
Yes. Files attached in PeopleBit use the same archive and the same permissions.
Is DocuBit the same as Macrosbit Files?
Yes. Macrosbit Files was renamed DocuBit in 2026. The product and your files are the same.
